This movie missed the "unwatchable" category by a hair: after about twenty minutes, right when we were about to give up, it took a turn for the better. Still not laugh-out-loud, but a cute tender story about a man regarded by his family as a loser (he hands out flyers in a blue alien suit on a low-traffic road) and who turns out to be a calming influence on his sister-in-law and her two frantic boys.
